Interactive Brokers Review | IG Review |
Which one to choose? Both Interactive Brokers and IG offer attractive conditions! We will help you to make a reasonable choice.
Which of the two offers the best pricing?
Interactive Brokers spread policy seems to be the best in the industry as their Bid/Ask price difference is 0.1 pips. However, the broker charges its customers with additional commissions per each trade that may wipe out this advantage. IG’s average spreads start from 0.9 pips which is also a very comfortable offer for intraday traders.
Which of the two is more reliable
Both brokers are regulated in the United States. Whatever company you choose, you will be protected by various US regulatory authorities. Those companies provide services worldwide as they have European and Asian licenses as well.
Trading platforms
Whatever company you choose, you will benefit from a range of trading platforms allowing you not only to place orders but also to conduct deep technical analysis. IG offers MetaTrader 4, ProRealTime, as well as a proprietary web platform. Interactive Brokers allows you to use their Workstation along with web platform and IBKR mobile.
Payment methods
If you want to deposit or withdraw using debit cards, ACH, or wire transfer, both companies will meet your requirements. For those who use PayPal, IG suits better.
Financial instruments
When choosing Interactive brokers, you can benefit from a range of currency pairs, CFDs, hedge funds, mutual funds, ETFs, bonds, and others. IG, on the other hand, allows you to trade commodities, derivatives, stocks, indices and others.
